Follow these simple steps to make the transition to residential aged care as smooth as possible. Our team at CraigCare are always on hand to help you at every stage of the process.
Aged Care Assessment
The Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) will meet with you to discuss the types of care that will be most appropriate. The assessment can be organised through your doctor, another health professional or directly through the ACA team. You can search for your nearest ACA Team.
Meet with us
Meet with our team at our care communities, where you will be given a tour of our facilities (in Victoria or WA) and have the chance to ask any questions that you may have. It’s also a great opportunity to meet some of the other residents and hear first hand what life is like in CraigCare communities. Book an Aged Care Facility Tour
Complete the paperwork
Our team will be on hand to guide you through completing all the necessary paperwork. They will also explain the costs and funding associated with the process.
Enter your new home
After selecting your room, it’s time to decide on the personal touches that you would like to add through personal items or furniture.
