Some of our residents recently enjoyed a fascinating day out to the Old Central Fire Station & Heritage Centre as part of our Everyday Living Services program.
Stepping inside Perth’s first fire station was like taking a journey back in time, with plenty of stories and history to discover. One of the highlights of the day was the chance to try on the traditional firefighters’ uniforms. Residents were amazed by just how heavy the gear was and gained a whole new appreciation for the dedication and hard work of firefighters throughout the years.
It was a wonderful day of learning, laughter and shared experiences, creating more special memories together.
