At CraigCare Berwick, we’re all about fostering connection, joy, and meaningful moments – and this month, our residents had another great experience when they gathered for their monthly social catch-up with the local kindergarten. What made this event so special? Well, it wasn’t just the friendly competition – it was the vibrant energy of the little ones that brought even more fun to the afternoon!
Many of our residents have a love for bingo, and we knew it would be the perfect activity to bring everyone together. But this wasn’t just any bingo session. We didn’t just play with regular cards; the group combined their creativity with their love for the game. Armed with arts and crafts supplies, the residents and children worked hand-in-hand to create their very own bingo set, making the experience even more unique and memorable.
As the game kicked off, laughter filled the air as the little ones eagerly called out the numbers, while the residents shared their years of bingo wisdom and tips. It was heart-warming to see the residents and children cheering each other on, celebrating the wins, and even laughing at the occasional “bingo blooper.”
