Some of our residents recently enjoyed a wonderful day out at Caversham Wildlife Park, with plenty of opportunities to get up close to some of Australia’s much-loved wildlife.
There were plenty of smiles as residents had the opportunity to meet some very friendly kangaroos, wombats and koalas, and explore the Reptile House, home to an array of snakes, lizards and other fascinating Australian wildlife.
The visit also brought back some lovely memories for residents who remember when Caversham Wildlife Park first opened its doors in 1988. It was a special opportunity to revisit a familiar place, share stories from the past and create some new memories along the way.
With plenty to see, do and talk about, it was a day filled with wildlife, laughter, conversation and a little nostalgia -the kind of outing that gives everyone something to smile about long after returning home.
