As the seasons shift, it’s the perfect time to refresh and inspire our gardens with new plants and flowers. Recently, we took a delightful outing to Garden world on Springvale Rd in Braeside, where our residents had a fantastic time exploring the vibrant selection of plants and flowers.
Wandering through the lush displays, many of our residents reminisced about their own gardens and shared memories of past seasons spent planting and nurturing. It was wonderful to see the creative ideas they came up with for our own garden areas here at Mornington, sparking even more excitement for our ongoing gardening activities.
The outing wasn’t just about plants – residents enjoyed a relaxing break with tea, coffee, and a bite to eat at the Gardenworld café, making it a well-rounded and joyful experience for everyone involved. The event brought plenty of smiles, and we’ve already seen a rise in interest for our future gardening projects.
It’s moments like these that remind us how much joy can be found in nature, community, and a little bit of green thumb inspiration.
