At CraigCare, life is about doing what you love- your way. Whether it’s continuing a favourite hobby, discovering something new, or simply sharing a laugh with friends, every day is filled with purpose and connection. We’re always asking: What brings you joy? What would you like to keep doing, or try for the first time? There’s no limit – only possibilities. Our photo gallery captures these special moments – real smiles, shared stories, and the joy of daily life. Families are always welcome, and many join in the fun, making our homes feel even more like home.

Life Doesn’t Come With A Manual. It Comes With A Mother.
Mother figures come in all shapes, sizes, and relationships. They don’t have to have given birth to you to gain recognition on this special day. Mother figures could be foster moms, aunties, mum’s friends, or sisters; any woman who raised you as a kid, stuck by you as a moody

Catena’s Gardening Adds To Meal Service Delight
At CraigCare Ascot Waters, one of the benefits of having large open spaces is that it allows raised herb beds to be installed. Accessible and communal herb beds means our residents can keep their thumbs green and that we can grow our own herbs to add to the meals that

A beautiful sunny and cloud-free Autumn day simply beckoned a road trip. A small group of explorers from our CraigCare Ascot Waters’ home packed the bus and began the short 30 minute road trip north east to discover pure rural splendour! Turning off Toodyay Road into a small township of

A Day Trip To Fremantle With Friends

With A Picnic Packed, Our Albany Residents Enjoy A Relaxing Day At Emu Point.
The weather in Albany could not be any more perfect. Sunshine and not a cloud in the sky! Both Fayrene and Lynette had their sneakers on ready for some light exercise – better than being in a gym, some would say. With a packed thermos of coffee, sandwiches and biscuits,

Anzac Day, 25 April, is one of Australia’s most important national occasions. It marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War. Across all of our residential aged care homes, residents and staff came together to commemorate the

Never-Ending Beauty On The Mornington Peninsular
Our local community social activities in the past four weeks at our CraigCare Mornington home include day trips to Mornington Park, Mornington Rose Garden, Hastings Yacht Club and Mount Martha Senior Centre. These weekly community outings are enjoyed by our residents for so many reasons, including triggering trips down memory
“I am so thankful and happy my husband is cared for here. Every staff member is kind, supportive and cheerful. The care of Ken has been beyond expectation. It is a hard adjustment after 50 years of marriage to be separated. Ken was no longer safe at home.
The adjustment has been made so much easier because of the caring staff at CraigCare. They are also very supportive of the family members, which added to my adjusting to handing my beloved husband into someone else’s care.
When visiting, I always feel welcomed by all staff. I feel at home, and enjoy getting to know the staff and the other residents. I am totally at ease knowing that Ken is cared for. Ken enjoys bus outings, shopping trips to Bunnings, gardening and helping in the Men’s shed, playing games, attending exercises, special morning and afternoon teas for occasions like Father’s Day and Easter.
I also enjoy having a meal with Ken in the dining room, usually once a week. The meals are presented so beautifully and so very tasty. Great variety and very nutritious – restaurant standard meals.
I would not wish for Ken to be at any other aged care home. He is living at the best!! Thank you every single one of the staff members for your care, given with love and fun.”
“Cathy has not stopped talking about the entertainment this afternoon – she is really happy about all the song choices and staff dancing and singing along with her. I love Thursdays because of Happy Hour and a special singer who sings beautiful songs; it’s also nice to watch the dancing and it entertains me a lot.”
“Thank you lifestyle staff for all you do for Dad. Dad loved it at Morning Melodies. The photos you sent me of Dad are fantastic; you are all amazing and I appreciate it.”
“The time and personal efforts that were given to the preparations for Milka’s special day was very much appreciated. Milka became emotional with tears of joy as she celebrated her culture and heritage with her new family at CraigCare. A special mention must go to the Chef for replicating our traditional Macedonian dishes. The dance group was well received and it was enjoyable to see the other residents joining in the dances. Our family is happy that we chose CraigCare to take care of Mum.”
“I enjoyed the travel chair to India very much – learning about India, testing my knowledge and realising that I know very little; I would like to know a lot more.”
“I was honoured and proud to be reading the ANZAC Post as my father and three uncles served in the Middle East and in Japan. I was also honoured to attend a special morning tea with fellow residents, to watch the ANZAC Day dawn service and ANZAC march. Thank you as it means a lot to me to honour my father and my uncles.”
“It was lovely to see all smiley faces and I enjoyed the Bollywood dancing. It reminded me of when I use to dance in England at Christmas.”
“Thank you for organising the Italian Day Celebration. My father and I had a wonderful time. My father was so happy and he loved the music. It was fantastic, great work always.”
