Who knew a little friendly competition could bring back so many wonderful memories?
Our residents had a fantastic time playing “The Price Is Right”, putting their shopping knowledge to the test. A selection of everyday grocery and household items was displayed in the main lounge, with everyone having a guess at how much each item costs today.
There were plenty of laughs, some very competitive guesses and, of course, chocolate prizes for those who got the price right!
The activity also sparked some wonderful conversations about how much things used to cost and memories of shopping years ago. Many residents were amazed at just how much everyday essentials have changed in price!
It was more than just a game – it was a chance to share stories, reminisce, connect and have a good laugh together.
A wonderful afternoon of fun, memories and a little friendly competition!
