About CraigCare Berwick

CraigCare Berwick Prides Itself On Its Homely Environment & Connection With The Local Community.

Our home contains 102 bedrooms with a variety of single, shared, companion and couples’ rooms. This allows choice for either your own privacy, for couples to stay together or for residents to make new and close friends through a companion room. Our larger single rooms and couple rooms have separate bed and lounge areas to allow for additional space.

For aged care residents living with dementia we have a space for wayfinding, a spacious courtyard, quiet zones and more secluded spaces. It is especially important for residents living with dementia to be able to choose to be on their own or spend time with others.

This requires designated areas and rooms that are of familiarity to the resident which also acts as a space that is calming and invokes historical memories.

Shubhpreet’s formal qualifications includes Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Computer Science and Masters of Accounting. She has worked in the aged care sector for 13 years. For the past two years, Shubhpreet has held the position of Home Manager. Prior to that, she was Clinical Manager for six years and also worked as a Registered Nurse.

Shubhpreet’s passion for working in aged care stems from a strong desire to make a positive difference in the lives of our older community members. For Shubhpreet, there is nothing more important in her career than walking into a home full of happy people and knowing that she contributes to their happiness and well being every single day.
