About CraigCare Ascot Waters

Experience the warmth and compassion that defines our commitment to superior aged care accommodation where quality care, social connections and individual interests are a focus.

Opened in January 2020, CraigCare Ascot Waters is a contemporary and purpose-built home for ageing in place. Our home offers a variety of light and spacious single rooms, all with ensuite bathrooms.

All of our rooms have easy access to multiple warm and luxurious living spaces, cosy reading nooks, lounge areas with gas fire fireplaces and large tropical fish aquariums.

Our rooms also have convenient access to well-manicured courtyards and shaded balconies that are a perfect spot for catching up with friends and family.

All rooms have large windows with a view to either our courtyards or a view of the beautiful surrounding suburbs, the CBD skyline, Swan River, Optus Stadium or Ascot racecourse.

Our home has a Registered Nurse on duty 24/7, supported by a dedicated team of care staff. All residents have access to specialist services including physiotherapists, regular visits from GPs and geriatricians, speech pathologists, podiatrists, optometrists, dentists, and wound specialists.

CraigCare’s in-house dietitian also provides individualised meal plans for each of our residents who may have specific dietary requirements.
CraigCare partners with community organisations to ensure our residents are provided with the highest standard of care at all times.

This includes partnerships with Residential Care Line (RCL), Co Hive, Metropolitan Palliative Care Consultancy Service (MPaCCS) and general practitioners (via telehealth). These valued partnerships allow our residents to avoid waiting for locum doctors after hours or a possible trip to the emergency department.

Daily Life At CraigCare Ascot Waters

Residents can choose to stay active at our onsite Wellness Centre, where a team of physiotherapists and allied health professionals support residents to achieve improved mobility, independence and overall wellbeing.

We know that good food goes hand in hand with good health and well-being. Because of this, we have a modern and expansive resident kitchen also situated in the Wellness Centre. The kitchen regularly becomes a social hub where everyone can enjoy each other’s company and do a little baking together or just make a cup of coffee or hot chocolate.

Working with our National Hotel Services Manager, our in-house Chef creates nutritious home-style meals cooked fresh each day using seasonal produce. Meals are served in our well-appointed dining rooms. We also offer additional dining options including in-room service, courtyard dining, and private family dining rooms which can be booked at any time for any occasion. Residents may also choose to pop into our onsite Kiln’s Café and enjoy barista-style coffee and delicious snacks with family and friends.

Our Swan Salon gives you access to hairdressing or barber appointments, and a manicure or pedicure. This means you can keep the confidence and happiness that comes from looking and feeling your best.

Our Grandstand Theatre offers a classic cinema experience for residents to enjoy award winning movies and documentaries on a daily basis. Our Kayo access means the cinema has a sports stadium like feel when major local and world sports events are on. Watching classic games from back in the day are also popular among residents.

CraigCare Ascot Waters offers a wide and inclusive choice of leisure and lifestyle activities including music, professional entertainers, social activities, exercise groups, art classes and library services. Residents are able to enjoy regular excursions using the home’s private bus to locations including the Swan River foreshore, a trip to the local ferry for a day cruise, shopping centres, café districts and even some plane spotting at Perth Airport. In addition to this, social events on our leisure and lifestyle program also feature events with our local community partners including Catholic Chisholm College, Bedford Bowls and The WA Museum Boola Bardip.

Our beautiful home includes multiple shaded balconies and courtyards that are the ideal place to keep active and entertain visitors. We have an outdoor barbeque area for the family to gather over a meal. Families are always welcome and encouraged to join their loved ones for a meal as often as they wish. Located a stone’s throw from the Swan River, residents and their families can also enjoy walks along the shore.
